United Overseas Bank (Thai) PCL. is proud to be awarded The Best Financial Institutions Bank in Thailand, 2012 from The Asset, Asia's leading financial publication in its Triple A Transaction Banking Awards 2012. Mr. Pipat Assamongkol, Executive Director, Country Head Transaction Banking, said, “This award clearly demonstrates UOB (Thai)'s transaction banking services in fulfilling our clients’ needs, especially for financial institutions who have more complex needs and require reliable services.” This is a new category of award from The Asset and UOB (Thai) is the only Asian bank that won this award.
This is the third time that UOB (Thai) has been awarded by The Asset. Previously, the Bank was awarded Rising Star Cash Management Bank in Thailand and Rising Star Trade Finance Bank in Thailand in 2011 and 2009.
