In his new role, Mr. Lim will drive the development of the Bank’s multi-channel network in cities across Thailand. He will focus on strengthening service and product delivery through the Bank’s branch and ATM network and internet banking to meet the financial needs of the Bank’s growing customer base.
Mr. Lim said that UOB Thai would continue to invest in technology to enhance the banking experience at all customer touch points.
“By simplifying the banking process for our customers across all channels, time that is usually spent on everyday transactions can be used for more meaningful discussions about their long-term financial goals and needs,” said Mr. Lim.
Mr. Lim has worked at UOB for 13 years and was most recently the Head of Human Resources for UOB Thai. Prior to this, Mr. Lim was based in Singapore where he held senior positions in various international financial institutions in the areas of branch management, retail operations, quality assurance and operations training, transaction services and human resources.
