Terms and Conditions

  1. Customers who send or receive money via Western Union Services at any UOB (Thai) branches/ FX booths’ service location between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2016 will receive a sticker per transaction.
  2. Customers collect the stickers and submit the following documents at any UOB (Thai) branches/ FX booths or send them to “Western Union Product” 11th floor, United Overseas Bank (Thai) PCL. Head Office, 191 South Sathon Road, Bangkok 10120, to redeem for the above gift (s)
    • Western Union’s stickers
    • Original receipts of money transfer. [Copy is not acceptable]
    • Redemption Form
    • Certified true copy of valid identification document bearing photo.
  3. The bank sets 4 periods for customers’ redemption;
    • 1st Redemption : 1 April – 30 April 2016
    • 2nd Redemption : 1 July – 31 July 2016
    • 3rd Redemption : 1 October – 31 October 2016
    • 4th Redemption : 1 January – 31 January 2017
  4. The customers will receive UOB UV Umbrella, UOB Folder Bag, Polo Rafia Travelling Bag and Mini U-Beaver doll at the branch/ FX booth where the requisite documents are submitted within 7 days from the date of submission. For Tesco Lotus Gift Voucher, the customers will receive them at the branch/ FX booth where the requisite documents are submitted within 90 days from the date of submission. For other gifts, the Bank will instruct distributors to deliver gift (s) to the address specified in the redemption form within 90 days free of charge.
  5. In the event that the gift (s) become (s) unavailable for reasons, i.e., out of stock and remodeled, the Bank may change or substitute the gift (s) with other gifts of similar quality/ value without prior notice.
  6. In the event that the UOB UV Umbrella, UOB Folder Bag, Polo Rafia Travelling Bag and Mini U-Beaver doll are defective, you may exchange the defective items for replacement ones at the branches where you redeemed your gifts only and you must do so within 7 days from date of redemption.

    The Bank is not involved in producing, distributing or delivery the electrical appliances.   7. The gift (s) is/are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash
  8. The Bank will not allow any gift redemption where the customer fails to submit requisite documents or fail to comply with the Bank’s terms and conditions.
  9. The Bank will retain the entire submitted document.
  10. Terms & Conditions shall apply the Bank’s announcement.
