4. Change of Call Center Telephone number

Why are you changing UOBR Call Center phone number?

As you are aware, UOBR and BOA will be integrated to become a member of United Overseas Bank Group. Therefore, as one Bank, the two Call Centers will also be merged and renamed as UOB Call Centre. For your convenience, from 28 November 2005, you will be able to access the UOB Call Centre via a single number at 0-2285-1555.

What are the new services for UOBR customer?

You would be pleased to know that with effect from 28 November 2005, UOBR customers can enjoy more services such as Gift redemption via IVR and retail banking transactions (both enquiry & monetary transactions).

If you wish to apply for this service that allows you to do monetary transactions, please apply for the T-PIN either at any of our 154 branches or UOB ATMs. The T-PIN would be sent to you 7 days later.

3. Can I still use my T-PIN for the new IVR?

For customers with BOA Account only
You may continue to use your existing T-PIN. However, from 28 November 2005, the IVR system would automatically ask you to change your PIN from 4 digits to 7 digits. After the PIN has been changed to 7 digits, you can proceed to do the normal transactions.

For customers with UOBR Account only
With effect from 28 November 2005, you would need to apply for a new T-PIN on the spot through the IVR system. After you have obtained the new T-PIN, you can proceed to do enquiries using the new T-PIN.

Should you wish to perform monetary transactions/gift redemption via IVR, you would need to apply for a new T–PIN at any UOB branches/ATMs. The T-PIN would be sent to you 7 days later.

For customers with both UOBR / BOA Accounts
You would need to change your 4 digits T-PIN for the PIN change via IVR. After you have changed the T-PIN from 4 digits to 7 digits, you can proceed to do his normal transactions.

(UOBR customer) Can I call from overseas to this Call Center’s new number?

Yes, from 28 November 2005, you can call from overseas to the UOB Call Center at 0-2285-1555.

(UOBR customer) When is the last day that I can call 1580?

You can call 1580 until 27 November 2005.
From 28 November 2005 onwards, please call the UOB Call Centre at the new number 0-2285-1555.

(BOA customer) What is the deadline for me to perform the T-PIN conversion from 4 digits to 7 digits via the IVR?

The T-PIN conversion facility via IVR will be provided for a period of 6 months after which it may be withdrawn by the Bank. When this happens, you would have to re-apply should you wish to use UOB phone banking service.
