UOB (Thai) Coral Planting

UOB (Thai) held the “UOB Coral Planting” Project, led by Khun Somchit Cuenchomchat, SVP, altogether with voluntary staffs and their families the total number of which was 200 persons. This project aimed to build new habitats for corals by laying the artificial coral lines and getting rid of litters on Toeuy-Ngam beach, Sattaheep, Cholburi province. It was one of several projects for the society that UOB (Thai) has been holding so as to restore the coral reef and the eco-system, which Her Majesty Queen Sirikit had suggested before. This activity was supposed to encourage all attendants and other people to preserve the marine environment and to be aware of the importance of marine natural resources.
