The Cardmember must, on the day that he / she applies for the complimentary Prestige Tier Upgrade, spend any amount at any retailer at MBS (“Upgrade Spend”). Theis Upgrade Spend may be made with cash, NETS, credit or debit card, funds transfer service, online payment platform or digital payment system but not via a Resort Dollars redemption.
In the event that the Upgrade Spend is incurred at a Sands LifeStyle (SL), it must be eligible to earn Resort Dollars and the Resort Dollars thereby earned must be credited to an existing LifeStyle tier SL membership account. If the Cardmember is not already an SL member on the day before the Upgrade Spend is incurred, they may sign up for an SL membership just before incurring the Upgrade Spend.
In the event that the Upgrade Spend is not incurred at a Sands Outlets, the Cardmember must retain a physical copy of the original receipt of the Upgrade Spend to redeem the Prestige Tier Upgrade.
Redemption of the Elite Tier Upgrade must be carried out in person at SL counters on MBS property. Cardmember must present their passport or other photo ID and UOB Card at SL counters to receive the Elite Tier Upgrade.
Redemption of the Prestige Tier Upgrade must be carried out in person at SL counters on MBS property. Cardmembers who incurred the Upgrade Spend at outlets which are not Sands Outlets must also present the original receipt of the Upgrade Spend.
