UOB Thailand confirms cases of COVID-19
17 new non-customer facing colleagues test positive

UOB Thailand has been informed by the health authorities that there have been 17 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. These colleagues are non-customer facing from our Call Centre teams working at UOB Phetkasem Building located in Bang Kae district; reporting the total number of colleagues tested positive is 40 cases as at 17 April 2021.

These new confirmed cases were last in the office from 9 to 12 April 2021. They tested positive between 15 and 17 April 2021. They are now receiving medical care. We are providing our colleagues and their families the support they may need throughout their recovery.

To ensure the well-being of our colleagues, the Bank has proactively arranged a COVID-19 test for all Call Centre colleagues working at the UOB Phetkasem Building.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and have the following precautionary measures in place to ensure the well-being of our colleagues and customers.
