สำหรับศิลปินที่มีประสบการณ์หรือมีผลงานเป็น Portfolio ต้องเคยจัดแสดงผลงานแบบเดี่ยวหรือแบบกลุ่ม (ยกเว้นการแสดงผลงานเพื่อจบการศึกษา) หรือมีหอศิลป์/แกลอรี่ส่งเป็นตัวแทนเข้าประกวด หรือเคยได้รับรางวัลจากการประกวดงานศิลปะที่เป็นที่ยอมรับ (ยกเว้นการแสดงผลงานเพื่อจบการศึกษา)

Established Artist Category

The Established Artist category is open to experienced professionals with a strong portfolio of work. They must have shown their paintings in solo or group exhibitions (excluding school graduation shows), be represented by a gallery or have achieved recognition through art awards.

This award winner will be invited to interview for a month-long residency programme at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.

UOB Southeast Asian Painting of the Year Award | US$10,000

The Emerging Artist category is open to aspiring artists who are pursuing an arts education, taking their first steps to a career in art or simply painting for pleasure.
