Terms and Conditions for UOB Appreciation Points Campaign
This privilege is offered by United Overseas Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited (“the Bank”) to customers who meet the qualifying criteria in terms of deposits, investments, and/or insurance purchases, and who hold participating credit cards.
The applicable benefits and conditions vary depending on the customer segment, relationship tier, and products held with the Bank.
- Eligible customers include UOB Privilege Reserve customers holding a UOB Infinite Credit Card or UOB Infinite Privilege Reserve Credit Card, UOB Privilege Banking customers holding a UOB PRIVI Miles Privilege Banking Credit Card, and UOB Wealth Banking customers holding a UOB PRIVI Miles Wealth Banking Credit Card, all of whom must maintain the required combined deposit and investment balances or purchase insurance products in accordance with the criteria specified by the Bank.
- The campaign period applicable to UOB Privilege Reserve and UOB Privilege Banking customers is from 1 July - 31 December 2026, while UOB Wealth Banking customers are entitled to the benefits from 1 January - 31 December 2026.
- UOB Appreciation Points are bonus points awarded by the Bank in addition to the regular points earned from spending on UOB credit cards of each relationship tier. These points are calculated based on qualifying credit card spending in accordance with the criteria applicable to each customer segment. The applicable earn rate, spending cap and maximum bonus points will vary by customer segment, as determined by the Bank. Accumulated points may be redeemed for gifts or airline miles at the conversion rates specified by the Bank, which the Bank reserves the right to amend from time to time.
- Customers must maintain the minimum required deposit and/or investment balance applicable to their customer segment on a monthly basis throughout the campaign period, or meet the criteria for the purchase of life insurance and/or unit-linked insurance products through the Bank, in accordance with the value and duration specified by the Bank. If a customer qualifies for more than one relationship tier, the Bank shall grant the benefits of one tier only, being the highest eligible relationship tier.
- Details of UOB Appreciation Points by Customer Segment
Customer Segment Qualifying Criteria for Bonus Points Bonus Points Calculation Maximum Bonus Points UOB Privilege Reserve Customers + UOB Infinite Credit Card or UOB Infinite Privilege Reserve Credit Card - Maintain a combined deposit and investment balance of THB 50 million, with a minimum investment balance of THB 25 million; or
- Purchase life insurance and/or unit-linked insurance products with a minimum premium of THB 5,000,000 per policy per year; or
- Purchase single-premium life insurance with a minimum premium of THB 50,000,000 per policy.
Receive UOB Appreciation Points at a rate of 2.6% of credit card spending. Maximum of 130,000 bonus points from spending of up to THB 5,000,000. UOB Privilege Banking Customers + UOB PRIVI Miles Privilege Banking Credit Card - Maintain a combined deposit and investment balance of THB 10 million, with a minimum investment balance of THB 5 million; or
- Purchase life insurance and/or unit-linked insurance products with a minimum premium of THB 1,000,000 per policy per year; or
- Purchase single-premium life insurance with a minimum premium of THB 10,000,000 per policy.
Receive UOB Appreciation Points at a rate of 5.75% of credit card spending. Maximum of 115,000 bonus points from spending of up to THB 2,000,000. UOB Wealth Banking Customers + UOB PRIVI Miles Wealth Banking Credit Card - Maintain a combined deposit and investment balance of THB 2 million, with a minimum investment balance of THB 1 million; or
- Purchase life insurance and/or unit-linked insurance products with a minimum premium of THB 300,000 per policy per year; or
- Purchase single-premium life insurance with a minimum premium of THB 2,000,000 per policy.
Receive UOB Appreciation Points at a rate of 4.6% of credit card spending. Maximum of 69,000 bonus points from spending of up to THB 1,500,000. Note: Life insurance purchases include all premium payment frequencies, including annual, semi-annual, quarterly and monthly payments, subject to the terms and conditions of each insurance product.
- Customers will be entitled to receive UOB Appreciation Points starting from the month in which the qualifying deposit and/or investment balance is maintained, or in which the purchase of life insurance is made in accordance with the criteria specified by the Bank, provided that the customer continues to maintain such qualifying status applicable to each customer segment as follows: 1) for UOB Privilege Reserve and UOB Privilege Banking customers, from 1 July - 31 December 2026; and 2) for UOB Wealth Banking customers, from 1 January - 31 December 2026. The calculation of points is based on eligible credit card spending and includes spending incurred on both primary and supplementary cards (if any), as determined by the Bank.
- The Bank will credit the bonus points to the primary credit card account within 90 days after the end of the campaign, provided that the primary card remains active and in good standing as at the date of crediting. If the card is suspended, cancelled, or has outstanding balances, the Bank reserves the right not to credit the bonus points. These bonus points are subject to the same validity period as the regular points applicable to each credit card type.
- Details of Bonus Points Calculation and Excluded Transactions
The awarding of UOB Appreciation Points is subject to the standard credit card points terms and conditions applicable to each type of credit card used by the customer. The Bank reserves the right not to award bonus points for certain categories of transactions, including but not limited to the following:- Cash advances, all types of fund transfers (including but not limited to Balance Transfer/Funds Transfer and Call for Cash), interest, penalties and all types of fees.
- Purchases of mutual funds and/or unit-linked insurance products, where such transactions are specified as excluded under the relevant credit card or programme terms and conditions.
- Payments for utilities made through any channel (including electricity and water bills), transactions under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 4900, and any other transactions as determined by the Bank.
- Top-ups to electronic wallets (e Wallet Top up) and any specific services designated by the Bank as excluded.
- Transactions designated as excluded under the terms and conditions of each credit card type, including but not limited to spending at petrol stations, certain categories of merchants, transactions that are subsequently cancelled, and any transactions that do not comply with the criteria prescribed by the Bank.
- The miles conversion rate expressed as “equivalent to THB xx = 1 mile” used for communication purposes is derived from the calculation of the total points earned. This comprises regular points earned from spending on the relevant credit card type combined with UOB Appreciation Points, based on the assumed spending amount and points cap applicable to each customer segment.
Example of miles conversion for UOB Wealth Banking customers:
An earning rate of THB 24 = 1 mile (equivalent to THB 8.88 = 1 point) is derived from the maximum total of 169,000 points, comprising 100,000 regular points and 69,000 UOB Appreciation Points, based on a maximum annual eligible spending of THB 1.5 million. The miles conversion rates for the Royal Orchid Plus and Asia Miles programmes are based on a conversion rate of 2.7 points = 1 mile (as of 31 May 2026), which is equivalent to THB 24 = 1 mile.
Miles conversion rates may vary among airline loyalty programmes and are subject to change from time to time. Customers are advised to check the latest miles conversion rates on the Bank’s website prior to redemption. - Credit Card: Use when necessary and pay back full amount on time to avoid 16% annual interest rate.
- This deposit is protected by the Deposit Protection Agency in the amount stipulated by law.

These terms and conditions may be translated into English language. In case of any inconsistency or discrepancy between Thai and English versions, Thai version shall prevail. The Bank reserves the right to amend, modify or cancel this campaign and to make final decisions on any disputes relating to the calculation and awarding of points, and the Bank’s decision shall be final and binding.
