Customers may exercise their right to transfer their personal data held by one service provider to another service provider for the purpose of applying for services. All service providers must comply with applicable rules and regulations concerning personal data protection, information technology system security for data transfers, and other applicable laws.
The commencement date for data submission under this project, at which customers may exercise their rights, will be announced in due course. Customers may monitor progress of the project via the Bank’s website.
Note: The Your Data Project is an initiative of the Bank of Thailand, aiming to establish a mechanism that enables the public to exercise their right to transfer their personal data held by financial service providers and related entities through digital channels in a convenient, secure, and standardized manner. The objective is to enhance access to financial services that meet customer needs, while ensuring personal data protection and information security.
Further details about the Your Data Project is available on the Bank of Thailand’s website. At present, the project is still under development and not yet available for service. The Bank will provide further updates through this channel in due course.
