The company will not cover*
Pre-existing conditions
The company will not pay benefits under this rider for any pre-existing chronic disease, injury, or illness (including any complications) prior to inception of this rider, except:
1) The insured has informed such a condition to the company and the company accepts the risk and agrees to underwrite it without exclusion, or,
2) The chronic disease, injury, or illness (including any complications) has not shown noticeable symptoms, has never been examined or diagnosed by physician, or the insured has never visited or consulted with the physician in a period of 5 years before the inception of the rider. Additionally, this rider must remain in force for at least 3 years after its inception.
Waiting Period for HA Wealth 2 Rider
The company will not pay benefits under this rider in the event of illness or medical expenses incurred during the following periods of time after the effective date of this rider, or on the date that the company has approved to increase the benefit amounts of this rider, whichever occurs later:
