Eligible Vehicle Age

Motor Type 1

    • Eligible vehicle age: 1-5 years for Dealer Garage
    • Eligible vehicle age: 1-15 years for Contracted Garage

Motor Type 2+, 3+

    • Eligible vehicle age: 1-7 years for AXA Dealer Garage
    • Eligible vehicle age: 1-25 years for AXA Contracted Garage

Terms and Conditions

Motor Type 1

    1. A car inspection is not required.
    2. Full coverage under the policy applies only after the car has been inspected by the Company’s authorised representative. Prior to completion of the inspection, the policy will cover damage to the insured vehicle caused by a collision only upon payment of the premium, and provided that the Insured notifies the Company immediately after the accident and a claim surveyor has inspected the damage at the scene.
    3. If the vehicle fails to pass the inspection, the Company will refund the full premium amount to the applicant, provided that no claims have already been made for any collision accident.
    4. Coverage is limited to private use only. The policy does not apply to vehicles used for commercial purposes, hire, or rental.
    5. The Company does not cover vehicles that have been modified for racing, lowered vehicles, lifted vehicles or vehicles altered for other purposes such as use with dry containers, refrigerators, steel frames, roofs, cages, etc.
    6. Additional coverage for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles includes charging devices, with no limit on the number or brand, provided they comply with industry standards and are suitable for charging the vehicle specified in the main automobile policy.
    7. Once the insurance agreement has been executed and the premium payment completed, the Insured may cancel the policy by following the cancellation process stated in the insurance contract. The premium will be refunded in accordance with the policy’s terms and conditions.

Motor Type 2+, 3+

    1. A car inspection is required.
    2. Coverage is limited to private use only. The policy does not apply to vehicles used for commercial purposes, hire, or rental.
    3. The Company does not cover vehicles that have been modified for racing, lowered vehicles, lifted vehicles or vehicles altered for other purposes such as use with dry containers, refrigerators, steel frames, roofs, cages, etc.

Important Exceptions

Accessories Equipment

If additional equipment is installed after the policy has commenced, the Insured must notify the Company purchase extended coverage for such accessories.

    • Type 1 coverage: Additional accessories are automatically covered up to a maximum of THB 20,000 per accident, free of charge.
    • Type 2+ and 3+ coverage: Additional accessories are automatically covered up to a maximum of THB 10,000 per accident, free of charge.

The company does not recognise the following as insurable equipment:

    • Movable accessories include car front-facing cameras or satellite antennas for cars.
    • Decorative parts made of Kevlar, carbon fibre, or carbon-Kevlar for aesthetic purposes.
    • Crystal glass coating or any other coatings of similar nature.
    • Mounting stickers, including stickers for car wraps or for changing car colours.
    • Protective film for vehicle paint or windows.
