  • No medical check-up required and simply answer health questions and meet the insurance company’s criteria.

Underwriting Conditions

  1. A 30-day waiting period applies.
  2. Benefits are payable if the Insured is diagnosed with one of the specified diseases and has received in-patient (IPD) treatment at a medical facility in Thailand.
  3. Benefits are payable once per policy year.
  4. Maximum 1 policy per person.

Important Exceptions

This policy does not cover any claims directly or indirectly arising from:

  1. Any illness occurs within the waiting period.
  2. Pre-existing conditions
  3. Health check-ups, hospital admissions, or surgery requests not directly related to necessary treatment, including rehabilitation, bed rest, general care assistance, or laboratory tests that are not medically necessary or are inconsistent with medical standards.
  4. Treatments not classified as conventional medical practice, including alternative medicine.
  5. Expenses arising from medical examinations requested by the Insured, or examinations conducted by a physician who is a parent, spouse, or child of the Insured.
  6. Special nursing services.
  7. Treatments or diagnostic tests unrelated to the diagnosis, symptoms or conditions of the covered disease.
  8. All types of orthoses, prostheses, medical equipment, and durable medical supplies.

Tax Benefits

Health insurance premiums can be used as tax benefits up to a maximum of THB 25,000 per year, in accordance with the conditions of the Revenue Department.

Thais and foreigners between 15 days and 70 years of age are eligible. Applicants under 18 years of age may apply without parents.

The policy can be purchased online via UOB Thailand’s website or at any UOB branch in Thailand.

Claims are payable under the selected plan when the Insured is diagnosed with dengue fever and receives inpatient treatment (IPD) at a medical facility in Thailand for at least 1 night.

Yes. Premiums are eligible for annual tax deduction, in accordance with the conditions set by the Revenue Department.

Coverage for each insuring agreement will terminate once the company has paid. A new policy may be purchased after the expiration of the original policy's annual period. Additionally, a waiting period of 30 days will apply.
