Complaint Channels
The insured can file a complaint through the following channels:
United Overseas Bank (Thai) PCL publicises details for sales via online channels only. The insurance products are insured by MSIG Insurance (Thailand) PCL which is responsible for conditions, coverages and benefits according to the conditions specified in the insurance policy.
The applicant must study coverage details and conditions before applying for the insurance policy.
It is suitable for customers who do not yet have coverage for assets inside their property, those with financial obligations to a bank (who are covered only for the building structure), or customers living in a condominium.
The policy covers contents within a residential building, such as furniture, fixtures, fittings, electrical appliances and other property in the insured’s dwelling (excluding wallpaper and personal belongings).
MSIG Home Easy Insurance is a property insurance plan for buildings that does not apply the average damage principle. The insured will be compensated for the actual damage, up to but not exceeding the insured amount, even if the insured amount is lower than the actual value. For general home insurance or home contents insurance, if the insured amount is set lower than the actual value of the property, compensation will be paid only in proportion to the insured amount (the average condition).
It provides cover in respect of death, bodily injury, or illness of any person, as well as loss of or damage to property belonging to others within the insured premises. For example, water leakage to the next room, causing damage to another person's property, or a potted plant falling from the balcony and injuring someone, or a branch from a tree planted in the house breaks and falls onto a car parked in the next house.
