Product Benefit Detail
  • The account holder will receive Personal Accident insurance (PA) entitlements and extended the coverage for driver and passenger of motorcycle. The coverage is due to loss of life, dismemberment, loss of sight, loss of speech, loss of hearing or total permanent disability from murder and assault, but not covering medical expenses.
  • Receive personal accident coverage up to 20 times of the deposit amount. Coverage up to THB 10 million worldwide 24 hours a day.
  • The customer does not have to pay insurance premiums.
  • Flexible, no limit on the number of deposits or withdrawals transaction.
  • Earn the deposit interest every last business day of June and December.
Personal Accident Coverage Benefit

Condition of Personal Accident Coverage

  • The account holder must have a deposit balance of at least THB 3,000 one day prior to the accident date.
  • The account holder may specify the beneficiary's name in the account opening form.
  • The Bank pays insurance premiums. The account holder is the insured person. For accident coverage, the account holder has the right to designate a third party or the account holder as the beneficiary. This coverage is under the group non-life insurance policy, UOB Secure Savings account. Thaivivat Insurance Public Company Limited takes responsibility under the terms of coverage and benefits according to conditions.

Condition of PA Coverage Amount

  • The account holder will be covered in the amount of 20 times of the deposit balance one day prior to the accident date. Maximum coverage of THB 10 million per person, regardless of the number of UOB Secure accounts held.
  • The account holder who is over 70 years old at the account opening date will receive compensation 70% of the coverage amount but not exceeding THB 7,000,000 per person.
  • Condition of compensation payment:
    • For loss of life, 100% of the coverage amount.
    • In case of dismemberment, loss of sight, loss of hearing, or speech, 1-60% of coverage amount will be paid according to the details per the policy document.
    • For total permanent disability, 100% of the coverage amount. For partial permanent disability, 50% of the coverage amount.
  • If the account holder has more than one UOB Secure Savings account, the amount of accident coverage will be calculated from the accounts with a deposit balance more than THB 3,000 combined. The maximum coverage amount will not exceed THB 10 million per person.
  • For opening a joint account more than one account holder and not specifying the beneficiaries’ proportion to be received, the personal accident coverage will be calculated from the account with a deposit balance more than THB 3,000 divided by the numbers of joint account holders. Each person will be compensated in the amount of 20 times the proportion of each person calculated from division by the number of joint deposit account holders against the coverage amount, but not more than THB 10 million per account, regardless of the number of joint account holders.

  • For Individual customer, aged 15 years old on the date of account opening.
  • Open an account with a minimum of THB 1,000

  • Effective from 1 July 2026 - Account maintenance fee : THB 20 per month for account that has been inactive for 12 consecutive months and has a month-end outstanding balance of less than THB 2,000.​

    Dormant Account refers to an account with no deposit, withdrawal, transfer, or bill‑payment transactions for 12 consecutive months, excluding system‑generated automatic transactions (e.g., auto direct debit). When an account becomes a dormant account, the customer will be unable to perform any transactions on the account.​
  • Deposit interest rates and terms are as announced by the Bank.
  • The value of insurance premium is equivalent to the interest rate that increases 0.19% per year as of 1 August 2026.
  • The deposits are under the protection of the laws regarding the Deposit Protection Agency as per the amount and conditions stipulated therein.
  • Withholding tax shall be in accordance with the regulations of the Revenue Department.
  • The bank reserves the right to cancel or change a benefit with prior notice before changing.

Loss of Life Total Permanent Disability Dismemberment, loss of sight, loss of hearing, or speech
  1. Health and Accident Insurance Claim Form, fully completed.
  2. Letter of appointment for the Administrator of the Estate (if any).
  3. Copy of the deceased's ID card or Passport.
  4. Copy of House Registration with the "Deceased" stamp.
  5. Copy of the Death Certificate.
  6. Copy of the Death Certification (issued by the hospital).
  7. Copy of the Autopsy Report. If sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, please attach the "Detailed Autopsy Report."
  8. Blood alcohol test result of the insured. (If no test was performed, attach a confirmation letter from the investigating officer and the forensic/attending physician).
  9. Copy of the Daily Case Report/Police Log, certified true copy.
  10. Copy of the police investigation report regarding the incident and cause of death.
  11. Copy of the Beneficiary’s ID card, certified true copy.
  12. Copy of the Beneficiary’s House Registration, certified true copy.
  13. Evidence of Name/Surname Change (if applicable).
  14. Bank Account Application and Copy of Bank Statement showing the balance prior to the incident, covering at least the last 3 months, certified true copy.
  15. For Minor Beneficiaries: Copy of Birth Certificate (if no ID card), House Registration of the minor, and ID Card/House Registration of parents or court-appointed legal guardian.
  1. Health and Accident Insurance Claim Form, fully completed.
  2. Copy of ID Card or Passport of the insured, certified true copy.
  3. Copy of House Registration of the insured, certified true copy.
  4. Complete Medical History/Treatment Records.
  5. Photographs of the Insured clearly showing the disability or damaged organs.
  6. Disability ID Card or official Disability Certification (issued by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security).
  7. Medical Certificate/Certification of Disability confirming the insured is permanently and totally unable to perform any duties of their regular occupation or any other occupation for life, issued by the attending physician or a government hospital physician.
  8. Evidence of Name/Surname Change (if applicable).
  9. Bank Account Application and Copy of Bank Statement showing the balance prior to the incident, covering at least the last 3 months, certified true copy.
  10. Copy of the Daily Police Report, certified true copy.
  11. Blood Alcohol Test Result of the insured (If no test was performed, attach a confirmation letter from the Investigating Officer and the Forensic/Attending Physician).
  1. Accident and Health Insurance Claim Form, fully completed.
  2. Physician’s Report confirming the permanent and total loss of function/use of the organ(s) due to an accident with no possibility of recovery.
  3. Photographs of the Insured clearly showing the lost organ(s).
  4. Disability ID Card or official Disability Certification (issued by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security).
  5. Original Medical Treatment Receipts.
  6. ID Card and House Registration of the insured. For Minors: Copy of Birth Certificate, House Registration of the minor, and ID Card/House Registration of parents or court-appointed legal guardian.
  7. Evidence of Name/Surname Change (if applicable).
  8. Copy of Daily Police Report and official police investigation results regarding the incident.
  9. Blood Alcohol Test Result (If no test was performed, attach a confirmation letter from the Investigating Officer and the Forensic/Attending Physician).
  10. Complete Medical History from the date of the accident to the present.
