Will there be any change(s) to my Investment holdings when my portfolio is migrated to UOB?
You Investment account number(s) have been changed on 21 April 2024, where your new Investment account number(s) have already been communicated to you in a letter via post. Please note that the average unit cost and profit/loss calculation of your portfolio at UOB might be slightly different from that at Citi due to decimal points rounding effect.


How do I check whether my investment(s) at Citi are correctly migrated to UOB (e.g. no. of Mutual Fund holding(s) held)?
Citi has issued a final customer banking statement(s) with Investment Account(s) holding(s) details to you before your investment holding(s) were migrated to UOB.

Post migration, UOB will issue a letter to you to confirm on the successful transfer. You will also be receiving UOB statement(s) for your new Investment Account(s) showing your new investment account numbers and Investment holding(s) month-end position post migration. With both letters, you will be able to make a comparison of your holding(s) at UOB against your previous holding(s) at Citi.

Your investment holding(s) is no longer viewable on Citibank Online and Citi Mobile® App, but you are now able to view your investment portfolio via UOB TMRW app.

We recognise the importance of having regular conversation with you, where conversations will include review of your investment portfolio to help you meet your financial goals. We will also ensure your wealth protection is prioritised followed by recommendations that will enhance your portfolio.



I have a bond investment with Citi. Can I continue to hold my bond investment until maturity?
Yes, you will be able to hold and receive coupon proceeds until maturity.



How will I be communicated of my new/migrated Investment Account(s) at UOB?
Your investment account number(s) have been changed on 21 April 2024. Your new mutual fund account number(s) have been communicated to you via letter by post and is ready for viewing via UOB TMRW app. Note that your full mutual fund holdings may take until 28 April 2024 to appear in the app.

How do I check whether my investment(s) at Citi are correctly migrated to UOB (e.g. no. of Mutual Fund holding(s) held)?

Citi has issued a final customer banking statement(s) with Investment Account(s) holding(s) details to you before your investment holding(s) were migrated to UOB.

Post migration, UOB will issue a letter to you to confirm on the successful transfer. You will also be receiving UOB statement(s) for your new Investment Account(s) showing your new investment account numbers and Investment holding(s) month-end position post migration. With both letters, you will be able to make a comparison of your holding(s) at UOB against your previous holding(s) at Citi.

Your investment holding(s) is no longer viewable on Citibank Online and Citi Mobile® App, but you are now able to view your investment portfolio via UOB TMRW app.

Your Investment Account(s) will be migrated to UOB as long as it is not a closed account. You will be receiving a migration letter which lists out all your new investment account number(s) that were successfully migrated to UOB. You will also have received a closing statement to validate unit holdings.

Yes, you will be able to hold and receive coupon proceeds until maturity.

Since 1 November 2022, you no longer receive researches from Citi. The research you currently receive have been sourced directly from UOB Group. You can access the research via UOB Group website, Wealth Banking and Privilege Banking Line Official, or via the eDM sent from UOB.

You are able to complete mutual fund transactions via UOB TMRW app or tape record.  Rest assured that you will be notified in advance prior to any changes being made.

Authorisation Corner service has been discontinued. You are now able to perform banking and investment transactions via the UOB TMRW app or at UOB branches nationwide. For investment transactions, you will also be able to transact via phone call with your Relationship Manager or Client Advisor.

Do I need to provide and sign a new W-8BEN form when my Offshore bond holding(s) are transferred to UOB?

No, if you currently have valid W-8BEN form, there is no additional requirement to sign new W-8BEN form.

No, Citibank Online and Citi Mobile App was discontinued on 19 April 2024, from 8:00 p.m. onwards. You can now view your investment portfolio via UOB TMRW app.

You investment account number(s) have been changed on 21 April 2024. Your new mutual fund account number(s) have been communicated via letter by post and is now ready for viewing via UOB TMRW app post migration. Note that your full mutual fund holdings may take until 28 Apr to appear in the app.

Your RSP subscription will continue as normal where funds will be debited from your UOB deposit account. We will not make a RSP subscription for you in the month that money cannot be debited from your account. Once you deposit money into your account, we will proceed to process your RSP subscription for that month automatically.

After the migration, UOB will send all notifications related to your investment transactions as a letter sent by post to your mailing address. Historical transactions from your migrated accounts of up to 365 days can be viewed via UOB TMRW app.

There are some key changes related to your migrated offshore bond account(s) as follows:

  • The investment unit holding balance from offshore bond coupon reinvestment is now maintained separately from other mutual fund unit holding records.
  • The offshore bond monthly statement will be mailed to you via post separately from your deposit and mutual fund monthly statement.
  • Your offshore bond unit holding balance will not display on the UOB TMRW app.
