Remark: UOB, as the insurance broker, will manage for entering into life insurance agreement, offer non-life insurance products and facilitate premium payments only, while Thai Vivat Insurance PCL as an insurer will be responsible for providing the coverage and benefits as stated in the insurance’s conditions. This document is not an insurance policy. The details of the insurance conditions, coverage and exceptions, are as set out in the policy. *For cardholders aged 70 years old and older, the company reserves the rights to give 70% coverage of the total sum insured under coverage condition number 1, 2, 3 and 4. Customer should understand the details of coverage and conditions before every decision for insurance.

  • Instant coverage right after debit card application for UOB V Care Unlimit / UOB V Care Extra Unlimit Debit Card.
  • For the cardholders of UOB V Care Unlimit Debit card and V Care Extra Unlimit Debit Card, in case of any claims with either network hospitals or non-network hospitals within the first 7 days for Bangkok (or the first 14 days for other provinces), cardholders will be required to make advance payment.
  • As for the cardholder’s advance payment, it will be refunded within 15 days after the submission of completed set of required documents.
  • For the advance payment, please submit “Accident Indemnity Claim form” as well as required documents to United Overseas Bank (Thai) PCL, Head Office, Insurance Product Department, 11th floor, 191, South Sathon road, Bangkok, 10120 or via any UOB branches.

Remark:
Insurance coverage will be automatically discontinued if the bank cannot collect annual fee from the cardholder for the following year.

  • Free of charge on cash withdrawal and balance inquiry transactions via all ATM with PromptCard logo, both within the same an different clearing zones
  • Fund transfer between banks with UOB ATM or debit card throughout 24 hrs.
  • Daily maximum cash withdrawal up to THB 100,000.
  • Daily maximum spending by a UOB Debit card up to THB 100,000 at merchants that accept PromptCard or MasterCard, excluding online product/service payment transaction
  • Cash withdrawal and balance inquiry available on UOB ATM throughout Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia without any fees

Warning
The bank is insured and pays a premium. UOB Vcare Unlimit/Vcare Xtra Unlimit Cardholder is a beneficiary under the insurance policy issued by Thai Vivat Insurance PCL.

Disclosure of Foreign Currency Exchange Risk Premium

When cardholder uses debit card to make payment for goods and/or services and/or cash withdrawal in a foreign currency, the expense incurred will be collected in Thai Baht. The collected amount is converted at the exchange rate applicable by each credit card company of which United Overseas Bank (Thai) Plc is a member as of the date such expenses were collected from the Bank on actual collection basis; where the expense is not incurred in USD, the credit card company may convert it into USD then from USD to Thai Baht.

For the purpose of risk protection, the Bank will charge an exchange risk-hedging premium on the top of the converted amount at a rate not exceeding 2.5% of the expense incurred.
