  • Choose the deposit period according to the customer preference (24, 36, 48 or 60 months).
  • Accident coverage is provided throughout the entire deposit period at no insurance premium cost, regardless of location worldwide.
  • The coverage is 2 times the deposit amount to be made in the account after the accident date until end of tenor period. Maximum THB 1,200,000 per person.
  • Tax exemption for deposit interest paid.

Terms and Conditions

  • Open an account from 1,000 - 25,000 baht. In case that the account holder would like to open an account of more than 1,000 baht, each increase of 500 baht is required.
  • The account holder must deposit the same amount every month, 1 time per month until expiry of the deposit term by not exceeding the last business day in that month. The total deposit amount shall not exceed 600,000 baht throughout the deposit periods of 24, 36, 48 and 60 months.
  • Account name "Child by father" or "Child by mother" or "Child by father and mother" only by considering that this deposit received belongs to the minor child.
  • One child is entitled to open one tax-exempt account, 1 person per 1 account only.
  • Applicant must notify the identification number of father and/or mother and child to the Bank to qualify for tax exemption.
  • Upon expiry of the deposit term, if the account holder does not notify account closing, the Bank will accept the continued deposit automatically with a 12-month deposit term, with12-month fixed deposit interest rate.
  • Not more than 2 missing deposits throughout the deposit period, whether such missing deposits are consecutive or not. For the 3rd missing deposit or more, it will be considered that the deposit conditions are violated immediately.
  • For no more than 2 missing deposits, the account holder must make up for the missing amount by depositing within the last business day before the due date (the maturity date of the account). Otherwise, the account holder will earn interest at the savings interest rate as announced by the Bank and pay withholding tax.
  • For more than 2 missing deposits or withdrawal before due, the Bank will close the account when the account holder contacts the Bank by calculating interest as follows.
    • For the deposit period of less than 3 months from the account opening date to the closing date, no interest payment.
    • For the deposit period of 3 months or more, but less than 24, 36, 48 and 60 months, interest will be calculated at the savings interest rate as announced by the Bank at that time, along with payment of withholding tax.
  • This deposit is protected by the Deposit Protection Agency in the amount stipulated by law.
  • The bank reserves the right to cancel or change a benefit with prior notice before changing.
  • Withholding tax shall be in accordance with the regulations of the Revenue Department.

Personal Accident Coverage Benefit

Condition of Personal Accident Coverage

Coverage starts from the account opening date and continues until the deposit maturity date or when the deposit conditions are violated as follows.

  • In case of missing deposits for more than 2 installments and the account holder has not closed the account, the account holder will not receive accidental coverage starting from the date that missed deposit fund.​
  • Premature withdrawal, the account holder will not be covered by accidental coverage from the date of withdrawal.​
  • Insurance premiums are paid by the Bank while the account holder is the insured. This coverage is under the group non-life insurance policy of UOB Tax-Free Taveesin Account. Thaivivat Insurance Public Company Limited takes responsibility under the terms of coverage and benefits according to conditions.​
  • The value of insurance premium is equivalent to the interest rate that increases 0.0099% per year as of 1 July 2026.

Personal Accident Coverage Amount

  • Receive personal accident coverage 2 times the deposit amount to be made in the account after the accident date until end of tenor period. Maximum THB 1,200,000 per person.​
  • The account holder who is over 70 years old at the account opening date will receive compensation 70% of the coverage amount.​
  • Condition of compensation payment:
    • For loss of life, 100% of the coverage amount.​
    • In case of dismemberment, loss of sight, loss of hearing, or speech, 1-60% of the coverage amount will be paid according to the details per the policy document.​
    • For total permanent disability, 100% of the coverage amount. For partial permanent disability, 50% of the coverage amount.

  • Age from birth to 15 years old.   The account "For / By" must be opened only.
  • Minor (below 15 years old): Copy of ID card of father or mother and copy of the minor's birth certificate or copy of house registration specifying the minor's name.

Loss of Life Total Permanent Disability Dismemberment, loss of sight, loss of hearing, or speech
  • Health and Accident Insurance Claim Form, fully completed.
  • Letter of appointment for the Administrator of the Estate (if any).
  • Copy of the deceased's ID card or Passport.
  • Copy of House Registration with the "Deceased" stamp.
  • Copy of the Death Certificate.
  • Copy of the Death Certification (issued by the hospital).
  • Copy of the Autopsy Report. If sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, please attach the "Detailed Autopsy Report."
  • Blood alcohol test result of the insured. (If no test was performed, attach a confirmation letter from the investigating officer and the forensic/attending physician).
  • Copy of the Daily Case Report/Police Log, certified true copy.
  • Copy of the police investigation report regarding the incident and cause of death.
  • Copy of the Beneficiary’s ID card, certified true copy.
  • Copy of the Beneficiary’s House Registration, certified true copy.
  • Evidence of Name/Surname Change (if applicable).
  • Bank Account Application and Copy of Bank Statement showing the balance prior to the incident, covering at least the last 3 months, certified true copy.
  • For Minor Beneficiaries: Copy of Birth Certificate (if no ID card), House Registration of the minor, and ID Card/House Registration of parents or court-appointed legal guardian.
  • Health and Accident Insurance Claim Form, fully completed.
  • Copy of ID Card or Passport of the insured, certified true copy.
  • Copy of House Registration of the insured, certified true copy.
  • Complete Medical History/Treatment Records.
  • Photographs of the Insured clearly showing the disability or damaged organs.
  • Disability ID Card or official Disability Certification (issued by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security).
  • Medical Certificate/Certification of Disability confirming the insured is permanently and totally unable to perform any duties of their regular occupation or any other occupation for life, issued by the attending physician or a government hospital physician.
  • Evidence of Name/Surname Change (if applicable).
  • Bank Account Application and Copy of Bank Statement showing the balance prior to the incident, covering at least the last 3 months, certified true copy.
  • Copy of the Daily Police Report, certified true copy.
  • Blood Alcohol Test Result of the insured (If no test was performed, attach a confirmation letter from the Investigating Officer and the Forensic/Attending Physician).
  • Accident and Health Insurance Claim Form, fully completed.
  • Physician’s Report confirming the permanent and total loss of function/use of the organ(s) due to an accident with no possibility of recovery.
  • Photographs of the Insured clearly showing the lost organ(s).
  • Disability ID Card or official Disability Certification (issued by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security).
  • Original Medical Treatment Receipts.
  • ID Card and House Registration of the insured. For Minors: Copy of Birth Certificate, House Registration of the minor, and ID Card/House Registration of parents or court-appointed legal guardian.
  • Evidence of Name/Surname Change (if applicable).
  • Copy of Daily Police Report and official police investigation results regarding the incident.
  • Blood Alcohol Test Result (If no test was performed, attach a confirmation letter from the Investigating Officer and the Forensic/Attending Physician).
  • Complete Medical History from the date of the accident to the present.
  • Bank Account Application and Copy of Bank Statement showing the balance prior to the incident, covering at least the last 3 months, certified true copy.
