Benefit of base plan: CI Income Rider**
In case being diagnosed with critical illnesses

  • Receive 100% of Sum assured from CI Income rider once being diagnosed with critical illness.  Such benefit will be paid one time per policy year until maturity
  • The premium of base plan will be waived for the remaining policy year

  1. Conditions for non-coverage: PRUPrime Return (Base plan policy)
    • 1.1 In case of material misrepresentation or false statement, the Company shall void the policy within 2 years from the policy effective date or the renewal date or the reinstatement date or the date the Company approves the increase of sum assured, only for the increased amount.
    • 1.2 The Insured commits suicide within 1 year from the policy effective date or the renewal date or the reinstatement date or the date the Company approves the increased sum assured, only for the increased amount, or is murdered by the beneficiary.
  2. Waiting Period: CI Income Rider

    This rider does not cover any critical illnesses or disorders that are confirmed by a physician and have clear evidence of association with critical illnesses covered under this rider, which occur within ninety days (90 days) from the effective date of this rider.

  3. Examples of Exclusions for CI Income Rider**
    • 3.1 Disorders that are confirmed by a physician and have clear evidence of association with critical illnesses, or critical illnesses that occur before the effective date of this rider, or before the reinstatement date of this rider, or before the date the Company approves the increased amount of the Sum Assured of this rider, whichever happens the latest. In case the Company approves the increased amount of the Sum Assured, the Company shall not provide coverage only for the part of increased amount of the SumAssured
    • 3.2 Suicide, self-inflicted injury or its attempt
    • 3.3 Inhale, eat, drink or inject toxic substances into the body, regardless of any means, whether being sane or insane.
    • 3.4 The insured's infection of HIV Positive or AIDS, either directly or indirectly.

Warning messages for PRUPrime Income
  1. This product is a life insurance product and is not a deposit. To secure the complete benefit of the policy contract, the policyholder should make premium payments thoroughly throughout the premium payment period as well as holding the policy contract until its maturity.  In case the policy contract is terminated prior to its maturity, the policyholder is subject to risk of not getting the premium paid or not getting the premium paid back in the full amount.
  2. It is the responsibility of the Insured to make premium payments. Life insurance brokers only facilitate the service.
  3. The Insured has rights to cancel the policy within 15 days from the date of receiving it. The company will then return the outstanding premium paid after deducting 500 Baht per policy for actual medical check-up expense and any other expenses.
  4. The Insured has rights to exercise the policy surrender and get the policy surrender value in the amount equivalent to what is stated in the Policy Surrender Schedule, plus any policy benefits to be entitled to (if any) less the outstanding debts (if any).
  5. This document is not an insurance contract. Details of coverage and exclusions are stated in the life insurance policy.
  6. The Insured should understand that PRUPrime Income is the marketing name of Endowment Team "PRUAomsup Poemka 11/6" (Participating) bundled with 15 Critical Illness_CI Income Rider and Waiver of Premium on CI Income Rider.

Premium paid for life insurance policies with coverage period of 11 years can be entitled for personal income tax deduction for up to the maximum of 100,000 Baht per year.  For health insurance policy (CI income rider) can be entitled for personal income tax deduction for up to maximum of 25,000 Baht per year.  However, when combined with life insurance premiums that Use tax benefits not more than 100,000 baht per year (as per the Department of Revenue’s regulations).

UOB, in its capacity as the insurance broker license number Chor 00026/2545 will facilitate the insurance transaction and premium payments only, while Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited will be responsible for providing the coverage and benefits as stated in the insurance contract.
